Women Talking12
Mar 8, 2023More and more cinemas are struggling to keep their doors open, and more and more people consume films in their own homes, often alone. "Women Talking" is a challenging film about what it means to be a community, but it's also a film that reminds us that films were meant to be watched in community.

I watched 'Triangle ofI watched 'Triangle of Sadness' last night and did not like it. There is more to people than class. Watching that bounce around, I might have lost my ability to go after 'Tar'. These are hard films.
I commented on 'Women Talking' in a stream-of-consciousness form in Jeremy's blog post, which was thoughtful (the movie - not my post.)
Here is one show I watched, and it wasn't a movie; it was a TV show that just concluded last year. I binged it over the last couple of months, and it is fantastic => 'This is Us'. I can't give it higher praise, and it is up there with 'Better Call Saul' and 'Roots', just excellent serial writing. Several dialogues and speeches there are worthy of their own critique.
Thanks for this show. It would be best to expand this to include series and all sorts of visual fare.
